As a Scot, this touches my heart as I have relations in Stirling and a lot of links with the Highlands. Lovely economy of touch in this painting - nothing is over-stated or laboured. It has a freshness and lightness and as always, a super sky.

Painted this watercolour some time ago but thought it made an interesting landscape to paint when viewed over the ploughed fields in the foreground a few miles from Stirling
