Delphiniums

Very prettily done, Glennis. I like the fact that you have kept is very simple with all the concentration on the flowers themselves.

Lovely Glennis.Might you be able to tell me what book?If you like you could use the PM system in the forum?Regards

Thank you Thea and Larry for your comments. Larry I will search my flower books and let you know. My memory after a couple of years isn't that brilliant.

Delphiniums are one of my favourite flowers. You have captured their colours perfectly.

Really lovely painting Glennis.

Larry - Haven't used the forum yet, so I will give you the information here. I have located the book. Julie King's - How to paint flowers in Watercolour art book by Search Press. Good luck with your painting. Christine and Denise - many thanks for your comments on my painting.

This had the "wow" factor for me. The deep colours just draw the eyes to this lovely picture :)

Sarah many thanks for your kind comment

I am only just catching up with all the new paintings on the website and seem to have missed your last few. I love your treatment of the delphiniums - lovely soft colours and a nice arrangement. I am growing delphiniums for the first time this year - I believe the slugs love them! I love your Blue tit painting and also the moody softness of the background in 'Owl in flight'. Your level of production never ceases to astound me Glennis!

Julie thank you for all of your comments on my paintings, very much appreciated. Some of my paintings have been done a while back, so not all new. Have just finished a wolf, one of the projects in Leisure Painters mag this month, so posted it to the team, hope it appears in the gallery at some stage.

I love these stately flowers, hoping mine grow again this year. Lovely painting Glennis.

Thank you Carole, I am trying some in pots this year as they don't like my garden soil.

Stunning use of colors, Glennis, and I like the way you suggested the petals - just super!
