Owl in flight by Glennis Weston

Nice atmosphere, Glennism the light picks out the owl well.

Very nice lighting in this painting Glennis and I love the subject. I like the purpely colour in the trees.

We have a pair of these in the derelict half of this house (think Kidnapped, Robert Louis Stevenson, the House of Shaws.....). In the evening light, they seem to be pure white - like ghosts flying into the eaves. Wonderful birds, and this is actually how they look - suddenly appearing, large shapes against the evening sky.
