Its lovely Glennis, I dont do buildings they leave me cold!!!!:)Linda

Good work Glennis and more greens too!

A lovely soft painting Glennis and you have handled all the foliage really well. I am not far away from you in the Forest of Dean - surrounded by trees but I have yet to paint them!!

Thank you all for your comments, much appreciated. Julie I know the Forest well, lived there for a few years in Blakeney, and visit often, with the dog.

I agree with the above - excellent greens.

Lovely little glimpse of traditional England - painted in a lovely gentle and sympathetic way.

Well done Glennis - all those greens so well handled

Just revisiting this one Glennis, just a little tip, if you soften the edges of the very dark, almost black foliage it would not be so dominant. I often spot little things on my own pics. on POL which I hadn't noticed before.

This is so sweet, I love churches and this one seems to sit so snugly in the trees, well done.

Tony, Thea, Michael and Debs, many thanks for your very encouraging comments. Stephen thank you for your advice always appreciated and I will touch up accordingly as I like the soft effect.

It's beautifully done, Glennis - love the way you painted the church - simple yet so descriptive. It's lovely!

Seok, thank you once again for your constructive comments on my paintings

Nice work on the Church Glennis. If I paint a nice landscape, I ruin it when I try to put a building in! I just can't get proportions right for some reason. Oh well, never mind, I'll stick to trees. They grow in all shapes and directions! A lovely scene with nice tones. The choir isn't half-bad either! :) Thanks Glennis. John

You are very good at buildings from the look of this Glennis :-) excellent painting :-)

I see this church when taking the dog dor a walk, it always looks nice through the trees. Haven't attempted too many buildings before, so this is just a little painting. Hope you like it.
