Dog eyed dog? Or doe eyed dog - ? I could understand the latter, because that's what this chap looks like, as though a bone is being waved seductively in front of him. Why household paint, by the way (why not, I suppose....). I'd have thought it would like painting with thick soup, but then - I haven't tried it.

Thanks for your comments Robert...I haven't done any drawing since I was a teenager- I'm now 50-then one cold afternoon with nothing better to do and a brand new set of £1 shop felt tips ( bought for my French students lessons) I decided to do some sketches of pictures in the Sunday supplement..I then went on to do the big picture of the blues man on an old canvas-from some tins of paint I had lying around -white emulsion, matt blackboard paint, gold enamel the scrapings of some silver and a bit of red acrylic. I was quite pleased by the results and someone suggested I put them on here..BUT the standard on here is so amazing I wasn't sure I'd done the right thing...SO thanks once again Robert for your feedback you have given me the confidence to try some more..and yes maybe soup next time!!
