I love these contrasts , you have captured them well . At first I wasn't sure about the tree and thought it might be better without it. But have sat and looked and yes you are right. Lovely painting.

Thank you Sylvia, I appreciate you taking the time to be so considered! I'm glad you like the tree in the end but I know exactly what you mean, it can be hard to decide on 'in' or 'out' sometimes! You have some lovely work too - particularly loved snowdonia, bluebell wood and iris paintings.
