I can almost feel the heat from the fire and I love the dark smoky background which works so well against the vivid colours of the fireman's suit. This is excellent - well done! Tracy

your portraits are always amazing & this one is no exception, I love the contrast in colour between the glowing figure & the beautiful, sombre background with it's lovely texture

I know it's been a while since my last post - but I've been a bit crook and now on the mend. This painting is a little larger than my usual - I'm trying to move slightly out of my comfort zone. It presented numerous challenges and hence learning opportunities. I got to wondering if the amount of high tech equipment and sophisticated fire proof clothing sometimes present a hinderance to these men?
