Very interesting progression - mine look a lot muckier than this before reaching completion! I see you go for a really strong drawing at the start, and I suspect that's a particularly good idea.

Agree with above comments, lovely colour use as well, interesting to see your notes as well, that you live in a part of the world where these birds are seen as a plague, here the colours of this bird would be seen as stunning

Just to be a little different - I thought you might be interested in seeing some of the stages a small work like this goes through. These birds sometimes reach plague numbers in some rural areas here and are the bane of farmers - they dig up freshly sown seed and chew seedlings as they sprout.
