Young Girl - watercolour - 16.5cm x 25cm - unknown paper - approx 300gsm This was painted on a sheet of inherited old paper. The texture is extremely rough (almost twice as rough as any of the modern papers I've used). I'm still very hesitant to use it as I have only a few sheets and I want to ensure that I do this precious resource justice. Never the less I enjoyed painting this and I like the many white patches left behind by the coarseness of the paper.
