I absolutely LOVE this. It is not easy to paint portraits in watercolour, so without meaning to be patronising I want to say a heart-felt 'Well done!' I also think that expressions of character are much more attractiv e to paint and catches the character of the model better if not smiling. Smiling is a 'photo pose'. Like your portfolio.

Watercolour on Saunders rough 300gsm My first go at this paper - I think I like it - but I'll have to practice a bit to get used to it. Sometimes its more fun to paint someone who's not smiling. It can say a lot more about them.
