Max was an associate of the late Michael Atchison (see earlier post) on the Adelaide Advertiser Newspaper. Max still writes the occasional poem or witty comic article about life in South Australia. He lives a short distance from me and was a true delight to paint. Those withered fingers still tap out their stories on an old manual typewriter (no on or off switch on that).
