Dog and toy in late afternoon 1

This is so sensitively and loosely painted and with great character and composition. I really like how you've handled light coming through the window too.

Delightful painting Georgiana.

I was at a meeting in someone's house; Simba the Labrador was also present. He brought his toys - generously accompanied with saliva - one by one into the room to show everyone.... as in 'this is bunny; say hallo to bunny!'. There was a council official present, with beautifully pressed trousers: to see him backing stealthily away before they got besmirched with Labrador drool, without offending the owner - or Simba - was a sight to behold. This painting rather brought that back to mind .... and very well painted it is, too.

Lovely work Georgina and quite touching too.

Stay home, stay alive and stay away from burdening the society. I have my doggie and my doggie has her toy to look at. Also, we still have slanting sunlight and the shades of greens through the window. We still have time and seasons. What a blessing!

I consider painting involves the discovery of one's own good self just like zen does. Each painting is another rejuvenation, and I am having lots of fun in painting the beautiful sceneries and still life in watercolour, acrylic, oil paint and water-soluble oil paint.
