I looked out from a double-decker and was fascinated by the beauty of the Square, particularly the glittering fountain, bathing in the last ray of a summer evening. "The setting sun appears sublime, but oh it is near the dying time" quoted from a Chinese poem. I do not consider it pessimistic. It just reminds us to appreciate and treasure of what we have right now as all things have its destiny of eventual dissolution and disappearance.

I consider painting involves the discovery of one's own good self just like zen does. Each painting is another rejuvenation, and I am having lots of fun in painting the beautiful sceneries and still life in watercolour, acrylic, oil paint and water-soluble oil paint.
