Bridge in a Eastern Lake
Bridges are always my favourite subjects for painting as they carry romantic sentiments, sometimes happy and in other times sad. They are where people meet or bid farewell. Sometimes people wait there for someone's return. There are loads of stories that one could make up as far as imagination could travel. I adopted a dotting approach in this painting to describe the flower blooms that "attack" sweetly our visual and olfactory sense in a spring walk.
About the Artist
Georgiana Chu
I consider painting involves the discovery of one's own good self just like zen does. Each painting is another rejuvenation, and I am having lots of fun in painting the beautiful sceneries and still life in watercolour, acrylic, oil paint and water-soluble oil paint.
