Lovely work once again George, a nice balance between the watercolour and the added pastel. The sheep work well, pointing towards the cottage.

A lovely pastel painting 😃

Lovely. Makes me.feel all summery and warm in afternoon sun.

A beautiful peaceful and well painted painting , excellent.

Love the composition and all the soft colours in this George.

Thanks everyone. There is obviously much more pastel on this one. On the original Watercolour there were more sheep and a very distracting path running up through the centre. To my mind this one has definitely improved with the addition of pastel.

How lovely this is George. Beautiful work.

Thank you Margaret, I first sketched this back in the 1980's and been fiddling with it ever since.

That's just superb.

Lovely scene - well painted

Love how you have defined the contours of the land going up to the cottage George, lovely painting.

Really attractive, beautiful soft colours.

What a fabulous scene and what a cracking job you have done in pastel George.

Thanks for your very welcome comments everyone.

Lovely picture, George, from a beautiful portfolio. You asked about Brusho colours. They are powders in little pots, which can be sprinkled. I have sprinkled them on wet paper, painted wet paper, into my palette trays. They spring to life in dampness, and you can move them around with brushes. They give very intense water-soluble colour. Hope that is helpful. I am really enjoying finding out what they can do.

Thank you Shirley, what you do with them is very creative. I might give them a go at some stage.

Great to find you here George, and wonderful to see your magical work again. Best wishes

Thanks Dave, I'm still aiming to get along to see you all one day.
