That's a great "birds-eye view" of the landscape, with the pinky-brown soil colours contrasting with the greens. Hope you'll frame it up, it looks really good on my computer screen!

Acrylic - 7" x 12" on mount board. This is something I enjoy doing with the paint left on my palette having finished a painting. That is, using it up by making a random pattern of marks with my palette knife on off cuts of mount board - sometimes this triggers an idea that can be worked on further. On this occasion I'd just been for a long walk in the Antrim hills near Glenarm and colours and textures produced aligned very much with the memory of that landscape.
