The Old Duke King St. Bristol

Brilliant perspectives George.....I would find them a nightmare to get right! Love the cobbled road.

Like this a lot George, lots to look at and great perspectives

Lovely painting of Kings st, Theatre, Landogger Trow and all those cobbles.

I like this very much, George. A lot to look at and enjoy, the people are great...I like to see people in landscapes. (Just a personal preference.)

This is a super watercolour George.

An excellent street scene, George.

Wonderful George!

Thank you all very much for your very welcome comments. For those who are unfamiliar with it, The Old Duke has been for a long time the most important Jazz venue in Bristol the walls full of photos and autographs of the many world famous bands that have appeared there. The Llandoger Trow (nearest on the left) now defunct I believe, was supposedly where Treasure Island was written. Another old pub in Bristol The Hole In The wall was reputedly the inspiration for the pub in Treasure Island, but who knows?

Great street scene with lots of atmosphere and love the sunshine crossing the road.

Thank You for your welcome comments Fred, and I've been told that it was Daniel Defoe wrote Robinson Crusoe at the Llandoger.
