Thank You all very much for your kind comments. Jess was indeed a lovely dog Sylvia. We had her for 16 really good years, and although we had always had dogs, she was by far the most intelligent and understanding one of them all. Fiona, Jess was always aware of anything in the air. We lived in Bristol at the time and the skies were regularly full of balloons and Jess hated them with a vengence.
