Thank you all very much for your kind comments. I'm not entirely sure that I'm happy about the colours I've used on this one. I might try again.

Wonderful composition with well-drawn, solid trees. Oak is beautifully rendered, but I don't get the feeling it's the main attraction that your title suggests because of very bright yellow of ground. I love the passage on the bottom right with the weaving colors. I'd love to see another painting with different colors. I applaud your gutsy yellows and willingness to experiment.I am a chicken at that. I'm sure there are rules about my kind of commentary which I haven't read, but I loved it when Federico gave me helpful criticism on my last painting, so I'll give it a go. Your drawing ability is over the moon.

I think Lynne has a point. But I would not charge this wonderful painting. But maybe the title. Books and films are often retitled so why not this 🤔
