Always a welcome sight George. Nice work.

Excellent artwork George.

Simply superb George.

Simply Superb George.

You’re aptly named George😉 or am I showing my ignorance?I like the reflected colours in the water and on the sides of the ships.

Really good George, bet all those masts took some time to get right?

Great scene George and a superb painting of it love the colours in the water. Brilliant idea to leave the buildings as a simple line drawing brings the focus to the ships .

Many thanks everyone. Your comments as usual are most welcome. My original photo source used for the painting is going back 42 years so I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that the boats were in for refitting and re rigging before setting off around the world. And Marjorie, I think I get your drift and you may well be right, clever girl eh !!

This is brilliant George. It works so well with the detailed tall ships and the outline of the buildings.

This is superb George

Many Thanks Spencer and Cheryl

I think these ships were being used on an HTV series, for which I had the misfortune to teach the child actors! I think the one on the left was eventually lost in the Bermuda Triangle, but not during the series. Could either have been “Boy on a Barge” or “Kidnapped”.

Bye the way I instantly recognised the Arnolfoni. Lovely reflections.

Thank You very much Linda, Christine and Sandra. You have a good memory Linda, the boat on the left did go down off Bermuda not to long after leaving Bristol.

Fantastic George, fine detail of these beautiful ships.

Thank You very much Carole.

Thank You very much Coral
