Fat over lean doesn't matter all that much if you're painting alla prima, because it all melds together in one coat. I like the colour of the sea in this one; I should carry on with the oils ... all adds to life's rich tapestry....

Oil on Canvas board 10"x8". Ok so this an oil painting and I have put it in my acrylics gallery! That's because I wanted to have another go with oils after 7 years of not using them and I painted the picture using acrylic methods. I forgot about fat over lean and ended up with fat over not quite so fat! It was also a good practice picture for Amroth Rocks 2.
