Yes Gabrele it is a good idea to adapt a painting rather than copy it although some people like to copy great works of art, either way it can give an idea of how the artist went about creating the work and you can put a little or a lot of your own ideas into it as you have done...

I did this one a while ago and adapted a Monet painting. Despite of the snow I think it is quite heart warming, though. What do you think?
