A stunning painting of a stunning location, Fred! I've not been to Windermere in many years, but your painting brought me right back. You've captured the essence of the place to perfection and you've created the atmospheric perspective so beautifully.

Thank you Seok for your great comments. We have been through the Lakes before ,but only on coach trips. To actually explore them up and over the hills and through the woods on foot, it was really beautiful.

Born In South London now living in Hampshire. A self taught artist although I did attend evening classes at The City and Guilds of London School of Art. As they didn't teach painting in artificial light I had to be content with life drawing two evenings a week. I also did all day on Sundays but…
