Wow, those intense blue shadows ! So atmospheric. And then the white dress, great focal point. A very successful image.

Wow, Fred! You're a treasure trove of old and beautiful sights! I was there a few years back and it's so much more congested now. This is really lovely - I really like the impressionistic brushwork.

Thank you Seok. I did try to be more freer with my brush strokes but always end up being careful. I can imagine it to be a lot more crowded now. Must go back and have a look.

I did this from my old B/W photo of my first holiday abroad. Went straight in without any drawing and improvising the colour from memory and imagination. It is of course La Ramblas, have never been back there. Acrylic on acrylic paper. 18x14in.
