This is beautiful. The birds are so effective, they're really swirling about as seagulls do! Lovely, a breath of fresh air!

It's a lovely painting, Fred. I really like the colors and composition here, and the birds really add to the atmosphere.

lovely painting - very Cornish! Last time I visited St ives, you couldn't put a pin between the people on the beach there were so many (August bank hol!). I love the way you've captured the gulls.
