Thanks for commenting everyone. I did complete this on site, but the trouble I have these days is that my eyes start to blur over after an hour or two, so sometimes have to finish these at home.

The pleasure for me when out sketching with friends is immense. Here a few of us sat sketching in lovely warm sunshine, taking in the country air and occasionally being accosted by a friendly black spaniel. Fine liner pens, about 10x10 inches in my sketchbook
