Good painting and liking your journey with gouache too. Never really used it but I like the opacity vs. watercolour.

Mine is still in flower too ....and I'm in Scotland, problem is they keep flowering on the 'wrong' side of the trellis. This is beautifully painted Frank.

Thanks everyone for commenting. We had trouble with that Val, only with sunflowers which followed the sun and created a lovely display …. for my neighbours!

I really like the way you can almost sculpture gouache to form shapes and texture in the subject being painted. Lovely Frank.

This passion flower is still in bloom outside my back door now, late October! I’ve had lots of fun with this with all the swirls of green and purple. Gouache on watercolour paper 6x6in.
