Jane -I've no idea how I've managed to miss your gallery. It was your comment on my "muddy field" that brought your name to my attention. What a beautiful place to live in. I've been right through your gallery today and am very impressed by your talent and the beautiful landscapes you have painted.This particular picture of Knockatee reminds me of my home in the Lake District which I moved from 25 years ago. Oh to be back amongst the fells,mountains and lakes!!!

Hi Jane. Lovely painting - I've just looked through your portfolio, great landscapes and what a beautiful area you live in. Also just to say how much I enjoyed NPS break - some very talented artists and each one with individual style. I'll finish all 3 paintings and frame them. Not sure about the sun/moon bits - I may use sandpaper on those! Nice meeting you.

This is the view from our front door, on a day when the sun is out (unlike today, with its gales and rain....). Knockatee stands in the middle of a ring of stone circles and there is something of a mystical feel to it. The views from the top are magnificent.
