Jane...Thank you for commenting on my work. I think you are striving for something, as I am. This has a lovely portrayal of light and shade, and I want to go down that pathway between the trees. to the light beyond the tunnel....

You've succeeded pretty well, Jane. It's lovely how you managed to work in the body color of the trees and leaves into the darks when it could so easily have become one black mass. And love the brushwork too!

Many thanks Ruth, Petra and Seok. This is quite a bit freer than I would normally paint and to me it looks almost messy, but experimenting is good and I'll keep trying...
