Sea Holly in the Moonlight ( whole updated version)

I missed your first sea holly painting. It's gorgeous but this one is even more so! It's truly wonderful and extremely effective! Your whole collection of floral paintings is amazing and this one is my favourite. You should be feeling very pleased with yourself! Well done!

I thought the first one was lovely Carole but this one is perfect! You've definitely given a touch of moonlight to the spicky leaves. Beautiful!

As Avril says, just magical. I think this is such a stunning painting - the painting of it, the composition, the colour palette - all just perfect. Can't praise it enough - really well done Carole.

The iridescent medium won't show up so well onscreen, so this is probably even better than it looks to us; it's a wonderful painting. Great contrast between the misty colours and the sharp detail of the sea holly.

I didn't think you could improve on perfetion.....but you have, it's beautiful Carole!!
