😆😆 thanks all, love the half Carole John. I was always called 'half pint' as I was always small!

Interesting collection of objects in a small sketch, after watching a tv prog. Last night about the Somme. The barbed wire reminded me of that.

It's a smashing piece Carole.....like the Foxgloves.

Lovely sketch Carole. Those stones look very 3D.

My first thought was pretty....is lovely Carole..

Such a pretty, well sketched scene Carole!

Another beauty, love it. Don't know which one I prefer :) Mia

Nicely done Carole, you have really got the balance between line and colour right, well for my taste you have, I think it's smashing. Love the little touches of yellow on the stones for the lichen nice touch.

It looks special to me Carole. It's just lovely.

It's just right - good balance and point of interest, ie the foxgloves which work so well.

Nice painting delicate touch as ever

Very kind thank you all for your comments.

Eek. Do I dare say I prefer the non-coloured version? Not this is not very good, but comparing the two ....

Don't worry Gudrun I still have the first drawing in tact!

Good sketch Carole.

Very nice indeed Carole

The soft delicate washes suit this sketch very well Carole, it's beautiful.
