Love the honest reality of it Carole, my garden is full of rhode colour at the moment I planted mixed beds years ago different heights, different colours and different flowering periods so get a nice long show,. Your painting really does justice to the plant and I believe if the edges are eaten they should be seen, nature is not perfect and your painting makes it live, nice one.
