Your lovely little paintings sparked quite a conversation Carole….husband tells me that nuthatches are the only birds which can walk “down” a tree trunk, dippers are amazing how they work underwater and wrens are not the smallest birds we see around here ( as I believed). So your paintings furthered my education😁

Oh thank you Marjorie, I’m pleased about that. We have a tree creeper which also that skits around tree trunk not sure if he walks down though…. So I’m thinking too? Yes I agree with the the other two 😊

Watercolour, bit of coloured pencil. Nuthatch, Dipper and wren.. Not attached to mount yet, but this is how I will frame them.
