The gold leaf must be difficult , a lovely painting could be ruined by a wobble or a shake. It does make it a bit special, though, Carole.

Thanks Johanna, just used a gold leaf adhesive on shape to be covered, place gold leaf very carefully on it then brush away excess . Thanks for your interest :)

Watercolour and W/c pencil, gold leaf. Just small for a card, kingfisher is 1.5 x 1”. Still practicing using gold leaf the adhesive was applied with a dip pen, not as neat as I would have liked.
