Those leaves again, Brill.......

Great. The apple looks luscious and solid...very well painted. ( I've been using the combination of watercolour and coloured pencils, liking it more and more.)

I'm getting in before anyone else says it - it looks good enough to eat! A beautiful apple Carole.

Truly scrumptious. x

The black background really focuses attention on the lovely apple - and the leaves are great!

It looks 3d Carole, looks good with the black background.

Carole tnis is amazing. Tje skin and leaves are just perfect.

Just brilliant Carole, looks good enough to eat!

exceptionaly super

the eye just follows every curve, fold and indentation of the fruit and brilliant blending of color, nice one Carole

Thank you for all your encouraging comments much appreciated.

Wonderful attention to detail Carole.

That's so striking and beautifully painted, set against that black background it shines 😀

Thank you Diana and Linda.

Gorgeous and looks almost edible Carole.

Superbly portrayed, Carole, so much wonderful detail, and that black background is so arresting!

The Apple is so 3D and ready to pluck off the page. Great colours and the glow under the stem is terrific.

brilliant ! made me feel like eating one

Many thanks for your lovely comments Alan, Thalia, Carole and Anne.

Don't know how I missed this ! It's very striking especially against the black background Carole. You've even got the black gouache smooth and even, not easy as it can often dry a little patchy.

Thanks Val, I tried a little tube I had of Holbein black gouache.
