A lovly choice of colours and subject. I'd like to see your previous post but it just seems to be random works offered !!! Will go and have a "grumble" on the forum.......

Avril. Go into view full profile to get all of Carole's galleries. Elegant painting.

Beautiful work, I have always wondered how these could be painted and here is the answer, well done.

Super choice of colours and bold composition, impressed with the number of paintings too, you certainly are on a roll! Wish they had smilies on POL you'd get a 'thumbs up' from me!!

This is lovely Carole! I do like your colour scheme too.

Superb Carole and it's supposed to have aphrodisiac properties

Beautiful and delicate Carole, they almost look as if they are dancing.

Absolutely fab Carole. Love the background colour and the placing of the sea holly flower heads. Can I ask how you retained the pale outlines? Are they white gouache? (I always like to know how such effective marks are made!)

I love sea holly (although it does spread very naughtily in the borders) and your version here is so pretty with super colours and delicate painting of the details. The centres of the flowers are particularly impressive. Great work, Carole.

Thanks all for your valuable comments. This has been laying half done on the floor for a couple of months as not happy with it, thought it was time to finish it or chuck it! Avril I can't find the other one on here I managed to sell the it😊 but I may have the photo on computer somewhere to post it for you. Louise I used masking then gave it a very pale wash at the end.

Lovely colours, lovely painting Carole.

A great subject for a lovely painting Carole!

Thanks Kal and Christone.

Beautifully painted.

Gorgeous work, Carole! You've captured the shapes of the flowers beautifully, and the highlighting of the three central flowers really brings the piece together.

Thank you Seok you are very kind.

very nice !
