Really nice painting fantastic colour .

Love the colour combinations Carole, it has a real zing. Which part is done with acrylic ink, just the darks ? And do you apply the ink once the watercolour washes are dry ? Most interested in how this technique works.

Beautiful Carole I will have to try the combination

Poppies on fire! Fantastic painting Carole!

Wow Carole this is in your face . Love it .

Wow - Lovely colours

Thanks so much everyone, really appreciate your comment. It is mainly acrylic ink with watercolour added here and there Sharon, I used them together here. Acrylics are indian yellow, process magenta and flame red, some yellow is w/c cad yellow and scarlet. The dark is sepia with granulation fluid. Really like the strong colour acrylic ink gives.

As every one says "Wow"!! Wonderful treatment of this subject and I love the granulating effect.

Lovely work Carole smashing colour.
