Lovely pastel work, very intense stare. Well done.

Very strong image.

Thank you so much for your kind comments!

Beautiful, very striking picture. Have you used velour paper for your pastel paintings?

Very good picture, what sort of texture has Canson paper ? Ref. to your comment on Hall haacave highlighted the foreground which does push back the Hall.

Thank you James. Canson is pastel paper you buy in large sheets. Here is Spain it's about 1.35 euros per sheet and comes in lots of different colours. It has quite a rough surface on one side and a less rough one on the other. The leopard is drawn on the smoother side. This 'tooth' helps to capture the pastel colour so it blends easily and doesn't blow away. It still needs spraying with a fixative to protect it when it's finished- though personally I don't use a spray if I am framing a picture as i think it can destroy the surface texture. Hope that helps and I'm glad my comment about your painting was helpful. Suzanne.
