This is a lovely creative approach. I like how you conveyed the theme of abundance by depicting an overspill of squashes over the edge of the square format. The variation in size of the squashes also adds dynamism and energy to the painting.

These squashes were displayed at a NT property last Autumn. I took several photos and have tried to paint them in a more imaginative way using two kinds of paper.

Fiona Rossington

After a career teaching Science, I am now retired and have time to enjoy a local Art class. I find pastel suits my style but I also enjoy trying to use water colours to good effect. I love painting flowers but also enjoy buildings, which so far I have painted from photos I have taken.
