Another very successful painting, Fiona - I think it's much harder to use your imagination than to paint exactly what you see. An original take on the architecture and atmosphere of Amsterdam...

As the boat went by it created some amazing reflections - I had to try to paint it from the photo I had taken.

Fiona Rossington

After a career teaching Science, I am now retired and have time to enjoy a local Art class. I find pastel suits my style but I also enjoy trying to use water colours to good effect. I love painting flowers but also enjoy buildings, which so far I have painted from photos I have taken.
