It's difficult to be motivated at this dismal time of year, especially given the current global political climates. Being an optimist though, I feel that there is always light through darkness. Acrylic on canvas 72 x 72cm

My obsession with painting started in September 2022. I love walking in the hills and mountains of northern England. That inspired me to try and capture the feelings of place in paint. It's an endless but joyful journey. My other passion is making stringed musical instruments.
