For various reasons, I haven't painted much this year but I'm experimenting with layers, so much so that this is painted over an older work that I never liked! It's acrylic on a wooden board 60cm x 45cm

My obsession with painting started in September 2022. I love walking in the hills and mountains of northern England. That inspired me to try and capture the feelings of place in paint. It's an endless but joyful journey. My other passion is making stringed musical instruments.
