I do a lot of looking and considering a painting when I thought I’d finished….you don’t always stop when you put the brush down. Simple but effective this one ( I don’t mean it was simple to do).

I loved sitting here after a plein air painting day at Histon Manor (good fun). This is large, but I don't remember how large, perhaps 60x40 cm. I think I may give a blue glaze to the canopy of the tree to make it less eye catching
