Very good pines Federico, I like the moodiness in this painting

Lovely dark Deep pinewood

Love the intensity and density of those pine trees with the blue sky peeping through Federico.

Thank you very much for your comments Heather, Julie and Carole. I just worked a bit more sharpening some edges and adjusting some colours/valoues. I am very happy how the pine trees ended but then I think this doesn't work very well as a painting... to the next one

Shishkin - could you have chosen a finer hero? The sheer scale of this painting, and the quite subdued light, make for a powerful image.

Thank you Robert. I also like Isaac levitan but for pine trees it has to be Shiskin. Don’t know why I tend to like Eastern painters

I like this Federico. I agree with you about Shishkin and I am also an admirer of Levitan.
