Thanks Michael! yes - a small indent of water. the sand is there is really quite fine texture, and little stingrays and queensland mud crabs wrigle down into the mud when the tide is shallow - waiting for a meal to come along. Then at low tide once they've moved out to deeper water it leaves these hollows in the sand.
