Brick Lane Market chess players.
50cm x 70cm, Oil on board. finally finished this one! too many fabric textures, chess pieces, shadows etc. But I like it. One that does tell a bit of a story maybe? You do see lots of real characters at London markets, and this little corner has this guy playing against multiple players - the urban street dude, the guy on the way home with his groceries, the euro flashy chess master... all come together in a game of chess in the sun.
