Red admiral on Corn sow-thistle by Emma Price

Watercolour, Not paper, aureolin, Quin. Magenta, French ultramarine and cadmium red ( you aren't supposed to encourage sow-thistles in the garden, but they have beautiful sunny flowers, insects love them and they have the softest, fluffiest seedheads imaginable. The garden is full of butterflies today, so I had to paint at least one!
