I really like your topical nature paintings Emma. Beautiful. The Hawthorn and Rowan around here are laden with fruit this autumn……plenty to fatten up on for the winter.

The gardening catalogues recommended firethorn (pyracantha) for winter colour…ours rarely lasts beyond September! But the birds bring plenty of winter cheer, so I suppose the description is accurate, in a way. Watercolour on Bockingford CP, 14x9"
