Absolutely gorgeous. The wren is lovely, and I can smell the mahonia flowers! Like lily of the valley!!

The mahonia isn't the prettiest plant, but bees like the flowers, and the wren likes exploring it for bugs. This watercolour sketch passed an enjoyable hour this afternoon. 14"x10", scarlet lake, aureolin and French ultramarine
