I saw the exhibitions of her beautiful work at the Dulwich Picture Gallery last year. Stunningly beautiful exhibition. I can definitely see her influence. It was food for thought and who knows ....

I’ve been researching abstract expressionist painters pre 1940’s. Helen Frankenthaler was an American abstract painter 1928-2011. She was amongst the artists who were part of the colour field movement. This is influenced by her style, with my stamp on it, basing it around the beautiful colours of Exmoor National Park.
